Saleemah Ahamed has 25+ years of experience in the financial services industry. She was the co-owner and manager of Adherence, a regulatory compliance consulting firm specializing in providing hands-on compliance services to RIAs, BDs and CPO/CTAs.

Prior to Adherence, Saleemah was at Sterling Stamos Capital Management, a private investment management firm with approximately $7B billion AUM, where she was a Managing Director, supervising legal, compliance and operational matters; and American Express Bank, where she was General Counsel for the Global Investments Products group focusing on alternative investment products.

Prior to going in-house, Saleemah was a securities and M&A attorney with the law firm of Shearman & Sterling. Saleemah has a JD/MBA from Columbia University, graduating as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and a BA cum laude from the University of California, San Diego.
